we as teenagers are overwhelmed by material things, clothes, music, cars etc. we seem to idolized everything but the ONE who gave us eternal life. we are too focused on things we see rather than the things we need to do by faith...

you can pick up your cross daily by denying yourself... when you want to hurt someone cause they hurt you... you forgive them... show your love... be a follower of Christ not by your words but your actions. if you are kind and show the Christian character of humbleness, gentleness, lovingness, forgiveness, honesty, perseverance, etc... show your love and act like a Christian and not just say it this is how we can pick up your cross daily. if you can be a true disciple of Christ you are picking up your cross daily
